Salustiana Valencia
(available from June – September) Developed as a juicing orange but a popular table fruit in Europe. These are sweet and tasty, they are easy to peel and have few seeds. Try these any way you want to use citrus. These are the most important variety to Gunnible – we have over 23,000 trees.
Tarocco Ippolito Blood Orange
(available June – end August) A distinctive variety known for their deep red, almost bloodcolored flesh. A unique flavour, combining sweetness with hints of raspberry and a slight tartness. Originating from the Mediterranean region, blood oranges are rich in antioxidants, vitamins A and C, and fibre. You can recognise these in the box by their blushing red skin!
Cara Cara Pink Navel
(available June – end August) PINK fleshed and delicious, this is a delicate balance of tangy and sweet. Try these in salads or with fish to add some extra zesty flavour. You can recognise these in the box by their navel end but don’t show colour on their skin. These are consistently voted the favourite orange.
Afourer Mandarin
(available August) Originally from Morocco these sweet and tasty mandarins are easy to peel and have become a lunchbox favourite across the world. These smooth skinned beauties have low to no seeds and have very low acid levels and high juice content.
Tahitian Lime
(available January and February) These zesty babies need no introduction. Everyone’s favourite variety of lime, use on fish, margarita cocktails or however you wish to use limes.
How to buy wholesale
We offer flexible packing options for our wholesale customers to suit your order requirements, including bulk at farm gate collection or packaging in 1kg and 3kg bags, 10kg and 16kg boxes, and 420kg bulk cardboard bins. We are a Fresh Care-accredited orchard with an on-farm packhouse. Gunnible ensures high-quality standards and efficient packing tailored to meet the demands of our customers.
